A retired woman from Germany wants to get her eyes lasered in Bangkok. The flyers of the luxury clinic promise that there are no communication problems because of an in-house interpreter sevice. But when it is time to make her across what the oculist wants to say to her it's getting difficult.
A heart patient from Texas goes by plane to Bangkok - againt the advice of his cardiologist. He wants to have stem cells injected in his heart. This therapy is not allowed in the USA because there exist no long term studies about its effectivity. The critcally ill man spends all his money - a serious perspective for a man who is fated to die - or mainly a big business?
